Oman and Qatar are set to enhance their economic and investment ties, as leaders from both nations recently engaged in discussions to strengthen commercial, industrial, and investment collaboration. The talks, held at the Invest Oman lounge, saw Omani ministers Anwar bin Hilal Al Jabri and Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali meeting with Sheikh Faisal bin Thani Al Thani, Qatar’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, to explore potential avenues for expanding partnerships across various promising sectors.

The dialogue between the two countries focused on multiple areas such as trade, investment, industry, transport, logistics, and modern technologies. Both sides identified numerous opportunities to boost mutual investments and emphasized the importance of encouraging private-sector companies to embark on joint projects and partnerships, aiming to strengthen their economic ties further.

In addition to discussing specific sectors, Oman and Qatar underscored the significance of improved coordination between their business communities and government entities.
