During his visit, Rijiju met with Qatar’s current Amir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to personally deliver condolences from India and its Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. He lauded the late Father Amir as a visionary leader whose efforts were pivotal in Qatar’s development and in forging stronger strategic relations with India.
